Centro Hotel Bodrum

It's amazing that a city hotel can be so peaceful.

We stayed for one night at this beautiful hotel during a day tour to Bodrum from Greece, and the experience was simply fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with immense warmth and taken care of until the very last minute. The hotel is located in one of the best areas of Bodrum: an elegant, quiet neighborhood in an absolutely strategic position. You can easily reach everything on foot within minutes: the city center, the harbor, the market, and the beach. The property is refined and immersed in greenery, surrounded by beautiful plants that create a wonderful atmosphere. A special mention also goes to the pool area, which was spotlessly clean. Our room wasn't just a standard room, but a gorgeous two-room suite: a living area with a sofa (and sofa bed) and a beautiful bedroom with a balcony. The bathroom was fully equipped and, just like the rest of the hotel, incredibly clean and smelling fresh. We had a minibar with complimentary water, and the staff even asked if we needed anything else. We truly enjoyed the breakfast: while it didn't have an overwhelming amount of options, everything was fresh, delicious, well-organized, and clean, with great sweet and continental choices. What made our stay unforgettable, however, was the extraordinary kindness of the entire staff, especially the lady at the reception. Upon check-out, they even offered us a complimentary drink as a parting gesture. Such genuine hospitality and customer care are hard to find. Highly recommended, we will definitely come back!

I arrived at the hotel 14.04, when checking in I looked at several rooms. Dirt and unsanitary everywhere. Bathroom's covered in mold, door won't close, toilet cover won't lock. There are dirty chairs with smelly pillows on the balcony. The room has furniture and appliances covered in dirt and grease, squeamish to touch everything. I've traveled over 50 countries, stayed in hotels ranging from quite modest to Luxury, but for me the most important thing about the hotel must be clean! This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen! I refused the room and asked for a refund, but the hotel didn't return anything.
