Macakizi Bodrum

Even in mid-October, Maçakızı in Bodrum was nothing short of magical. The air may have been softer and the pace a little slower, but the resort’s beauty remained undiminished. Sculptures and contemporary artworks punctuating the property’s pathways and terraces caught the light in unexpected ways, somehow blending them into the lush greenery that surrounded them. And the gardens were still in full bloom – a cascade of bougainvillaea, olive trees and Mediterranean foliage framing serene views over the bay. Our days unfolded with sumptuous breakfast spreads; delectable Turkish wines; delicious lunches of fresh salads; expertly prepared cocktails and elegant dinners that were as refined as ever, everything served with the warmth and attentiveness that make Maçakızı so special. There’s an effortless grace to life at Maçakızı that feels timeless. Art, nature, cuisine and hospitality – all perfectly in tune, even as the end of the season. I had already been here two years ago and I was very comfortable. Also this year wonderful stay. Very nice sea point and rooms in the middle of silence and nature. Well attended and no noisy children. Very pet-friendly. The only flaw is the spiraling increase in prices: water at 20€, coke at 18€, 30 minutes of hamman 193€ to add 20% tax and 10% tips. If you book this hotel please know that the extra prices are very high. Despite everything I would stay there again.

As a hotelier, I had a great experience The turtlenecks were very caring and gulerios, beach turtlenecks deserved more , breakfasts and lunch were incredible quality and sophistication , You can rest assured it will be the only hotel I will repair in the basement
