Dogan Hotel

It was awful experience . Last year during reservation the hotel requested to pay in advance to the bank account . They gave wrong payment instructions ( instead of usd account it dead account in EUR ), upon arrival they did not find the money and pushed us to pay once again . The payment was in cash . They said that the money transfer will be returned . BUT !! They still after one year they did not refund it . They know very well about this situation , they promised many times to refund , but still nothing . Absolutely incredible and unacceptable situation !

A friend of mine mentioned this cute hotel when she heard that I was looking for a quiet, relaxing, adults-only spot, so I decided to give it a try. I stayed at Baraka for 3 days, and honestly, it was so hard to leave! I have a degree in hotel management, and I travel frequently, so during the years I've become quite picky about the places I stay. Baraka is not a perfect hotel (is there one?), but it has this homely, welcoming vibe that is so rare in the industry these days. As a guy who requires a day or two to acclimatize to new surroundings, it was quite surprising to feel at home after only a couple of hours. The staff played a big role in this, especially Amie and Tanya, who felt more like friends than employees throughout my stay. I wasn't actually looking for any activities, but "movie night" was fun, and the free yoga lesson was so good and relaxing... it was quite surprising to come across such a skillful and experienced yoga teacher at a hotel, to be honest. I needed a cosy, quiet place that felt like home, not an establishment. And I found it. And yes, I will definitely go back as soon as possible.

Stayed here several times throughout the years, and was happy for each of my stays. A simple, cozy decoration adorns the lobby. Friendly staff is always attentive. Rooms are simple but has everything you need. And the setting is so dramatic and beautiful.
