Ekinci Palace

I rebooked this hotel for my birthday holiday as i really liked the staff ,me and my best friend stayed here in may . I asked manager not to put me on top floor and also asked about blending water melon for me as its part of my diet. When i arrived i was told im at the top by the night staff,but i explaned my fear so he got me another room. The next day i asked for my water melon to be blended ,the male staff member was very rude and said "no we have new blender and it could break..." (they use it to blend ice 🤬) He also went on to say "don't drink ur own drinks round pool." (i never have which i said) he just walked off. I asked a different hotel who was happy to help me several times and didnt even expect me to buy anything for exchange of blending my melon. All of the staff didnt care to say any birthday wishes (all bar 1 at the very end of day) My room didnt get cleaned untill i complained a few days in. Toilet flush was broken . No ashtray till the last day. I was also refused the use of a hoover to suck the air out of my bags when packing, so again i had to go and use a hoover at a different business who was happy to help after i dragged my luggage down the road to them. The cleaning staff came in room while sleeping which is very rude (woke up to a note which was creepy). Manager tried to say the night staff made mistake TALK ABOUT PASS THE BLAME. I WAS GOIMG TO REBOOK FOR NEXT YEAR BIT NEVER AGAIN ,DISGUSTING TREATMENT (There was 1 member of staff who was a genuine lovely lady but it wasnt enough to redeem the poor experience i had this time).1

I was ment to stay at faber again ,but was relocated to tbis lovely hotel , Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was nice ,drinks exapensive . Rooms nice and clean , a lovey pool with water slide,andl very clean but was freezing in may. Lovely views of mountains. Not to far from the beach ,i love ichmela tho. I rebooked for my birthday ,but sadly didnt have the same reception from staff I left a review but realised i didnt mention my 1st stay with them . So here it is .....m

First time staying here after our previous booking was cancelled and I can honestly say I was not disappointed, from the moment we arrived we was greeted with a warm smile from elis, we arrived quite a bit earlier than the check in time, as our flights was changed to a night flight, but that wasn't an issue because as soon as the room was ready, we was allowed to check in early, we was not disappointed at all with the room it was cleaned every day and had fresh towels and bedding every other day, the pool was great it had walk in steps and really big and wasn't overly deep either which is great, there was also plenty of sunbeds and definitely no sunbed wars, there is a shaded area also around the pool incase it gets to hot, we had plenty of evening meals in the restaurant and I can honestly say, the food was amazing especially the steak, there is so much to choose from, ranging from an arrange of breakfasts to midday snacks ( the portions were still big for us ) and of course the evening menus and all was really good prices, all in all we was not disappointed, there was no pressure to stay and eat there which was nice to see, all the staff work really hard to make your stay feel like home from home and they cannot do enough for you while you are there, we will deffinatly be returning again and because the ekinci palace is family run I think it deserves 5* rating and please ignore any negative reviews that you read because we couldn't fault it at all, there is nothing that I could of complained about, finally finally a big thankyou to the ekinci family for having us, we miss you all already especially elis, melis, merv and tuba and also cliff sorry if I've spelt any names wrong or missed any one off because I forgot your names, it was definitely a big thumbs up from us 😀 😊 👍
