I stayed here in mid July. The staff could not be friendly. The hotel is basic but clean. I would stay there again. Great place if you are on a budget. Nice quiet hotel. Management speak really good English. Staff present 24/7

We booked this as a very last minute deal, and it was incredibly cheap. Rooms are basic, but ideal if you intend to be out and about all day long & just want somewhere to sleep. Clean pool area, we went in September (temp over 40 degrees every day) and the pool was usually empty, nice to have a pool to yourselves! Hotel was close to the beach and restaurants. Small charge to use the AC in your room, but definitely worth it in peak season. A few down sides: It was quite a long transfer from the airport. Hotel staff aren't happy for you to bring drinks into the hotel that you've bought elsewhere, but they charge far too much for drinks there. We tended to sneak drinks in inside our bags. Rather large cockroaches in one of the rooms. Turunc is a lovely place, definitely worth a visit!
