Sol Beach Hotel

Stayed in this hotel for 7 nights , great hotel , calm , small and clean.Sol Beach has an excellent location just a few minutes walking from the center and you can reach easily everything. For Marmaris , you don't need more than Sol beach , it is cheap and nice. The food is absolutely delicious(exceptional thanks to the chefs) and there are enough meals to choose from. The guys in the restaurant are friendly and professional oriented. The rooms are small but with enough space for 2 persons.The rooms have a balconies with great view to the sea.The sheets and towels are not changed every day,it's my personal opinion, but the rooms are clean.The beds are comfortable. The staff on the reception are smiling,positive and friendly,especially Esra.Thanks,Esra,you are great and always helpful! The private beach was more than we expected.Enough sun beds,enough space between them and wonderful sea. Only problem was Wifi -shows full bars reception but generally does not allow access and when it does it is only at reception never in your room ,but not such a problem. Just back from Sol Beach hotel, read all the reviews on here and looked at the pics, looked great so I booked it for 10 nights for my wife and I. It was the first time we had booked a beach hotel and also adults only one. We arrived at the hotel in the early hours so couldn’t really see much then. We got to our room and we looked at each other. Nothing like the pictures we had seen. The tiniest room we’ve stayed in apart from an Easy hotel. No real space to put our clothes. The balcony we could just get both of us in to sit. In the room if we wanted to move in the opposite direction we had to wait till one of us got out of the way. Next day we went down for lunch. A choice of 4 things which neither of us fancied like yogurt soup or goulash. Dinner was similar. Not one other person at the hotel spoke English, seemed to be all Russian or Turkish people. When we saw outside of the hotel in the daytime it was just dismal, easily the most horrible hotel on the beach. Out at the back there is a tiny pool where the one bar was open. Took us three times every time we asked to get the drink we wanted. When we went to the restaurant next door the waiter asked us where we were staying. When we told him he said “you must have booked it by mistake!” He told us a Dutch couple ate with them every night rather than at the hotel. So much for All Incusive. Can I just say we are not stuck up or have anything against any other nations people but for us I would just say if you’re British, avoid this hotel.

This hotel is at very good location (close to everything in Marmaris),Adult only (there is no kids and youngsters under 18th).Hotel is very clean,with friendly stuff and average good food and drinks. Hotel is at the front sea position and have a private beach ahead (few busy rows with sunbeds and sun-umbrellas). Big minus at the beach is a lot of very unpleasant sea grass starting few meters from the shore (Blue flag beach???). Standard rooms are extremely small,but cleaning ladies are great. Have in mind this is 3 star hotel and it deserves proudly 4 stars rating for his category.
