Where do I even begin with this train wreck of a hotel? Calling it a hotel is indeed an insult to every other hotel I have stayed in!! This wasn't a relaxing getaway. It was an active exercise in misery!! The check-in process was handled by a member of staff who seemed deeply pained by the mere presence of a customer!! The reception, far from grand, gave me a feeling of despair!! Upon entering my room, I stifled a gasp!! On the wall by the 'cooker' was a mosaic of questionable stains, and I truly did not know what other biohazards i was sharing the room with!! My view was a rather neglected apartment block opposite!! The bathroom was a masterpiece of neglect!! The shower curtain looked like it hadn't been changed since the Thatcher government, and the shower itself ran tepid water at best!! The crowning glory was black mould on walls and ceiling. The towel supplied came with the obligatory cigarette burn in it!! Sleep was a mythical concept here!! The walls appear to be tissue paper thin!! I was intimately familiar with neighbours' conversations, the symphony of street traffic and THUMP, THUMP THUMP of many local bars, not to mention the drunks in the bar below until 6:30am and I got maybe 2 nights of genuine sleep out of 10!! In summary, this place is a monument to poor maintainence and a blatant disregard to guest comfort given the outdated rooms!! If you value your money, your health, and your sanity, do yourself a massive favour and sleep in the park opposite!! It will be cleaner, quieter, and probably have better amenities!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!¹

I apologize for the delay in posting this positive review. In July 2024, my family and I booked a last-minute holiday through Love Holidays for a week in Turkey. We had spent two weeks in Cyprus for our wedding prior and didn't get much quality time together, so we chose this hotel. Initially, we had some concerns, but upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tansel, the hotel owner, who turned out to be a genuinely nice person. The hotel staff were lovely, and if you enjoy football, you can have engaging conversations about teams from around the world. The bar operates on a cash basis, and the coffee was delightful. I particularly enjoyed the Efes beer served in a frosted glass, which I often find myself reminiscing about while at work. The hotel’s Wi-Fi was effective, and it's conveniently located near a small store for all your needs. In summary, if you're looking for a cost-effective and laid-back hotel, this place does the trick. Thank you for a lovely stay!
