Recently stayed for 7 days at Orka Village. I was worried about the hotel as I’d never been to this one before. However I shouldn’t have worried. The Hotel room had air con, was modern enough with everything you’d need. Shower, toilet, comfy bed, wardrobe, TV, mini fridge / mini bar, balcony. Room was cleaned daily, our bedding was changed day 3. Fresh towels every day. We didn’t take up the offer of upgrading to half board because we specifically wanted to go out in the evenings and try all the delicious food. The half board offer would’ve been great value, and from the lunches we had at the pool bar I’d say the food was excellent. We were bed and breakfast, and although there is a lack of bacon or hash browns, you could get freshly fried eggs, also had an omelette station to make your order. Also a huge selection or fruits, pastries, bread etc.
The pool area is great, you have the choice of a quieter adult pool, or the fun pool with music, and organised games like darts, aqua gym, water polo and volleyball. We stayed on the fun side with music etc. the slides are great fun and keep the kids and adults entertained.
Really unexpected for me was the waiter service to the pool, for the first day or two I was going to the bar myself. Obviously it didn’t take me too long to realise I could get everything delivered to my subbed. Big shout out to Yesser (yes sir) who visited us several times a day to make sure we stayed hydrated with our water and cocktail orders. He made our stay very enjoyable. He always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble.
I noticed staff around the pool constantly picking up rubbish and keeping the area clean. I have to say everywhere was maintained very well. The hotel enforces no sun bed saving before 8am. Which is nice, some people get to the pool earlier and just sit on the beds until 8am. I will say there are plenty of beds. I saw people arriving mid morning, lunch time and in the afternoon and all able to find beds. Amazingly they had a pool party on the Friday, big inflatables and foam cannons, dancers etc. Was fun.
On our first day we visited the spa onsite (Ocean) we were approached by Yeaman (the spa man) and he sold us on a Turkish bath, massage and face mask. I have to say the value is incredible. You may find cheaper in town or on the strip, but the quality will not be the same. I had never had a massage before, I ended up having 3 in the week because they are so good.
The hotel have signs up saying you cannot bring in food and drink products from outside the hotel. However we brought in bottles of water each day, and occasional snacks like Doritos and were not stopped. I think as long as your sensible and not walking in with a trolley load from the local supermarket you’ll be fine.
The hotel showed the England World Cup game versus Mexico at 4am. The staff work so hard, they are very friendly and happy. They really want you to have the best time and enjoy your holiday.
Check out is 12pm, we were not being picked up until 5pm so I asked for late check out on departure day. Very simply they added £30 to my bill and allowed us to keep the room until 4pm. Which was perfect.
The hotel is a very quick 5 minute walk to the main Hisaronu strip.
I don’t really have anything to complain about. Maybe the air con could be a bit colder, maybe they could add bacon and hash browns to breakfast. I’d be really nit picking though.
Great for couples and great for families.

Another yearly trip done at Orka Village Hisaronu .
We travelled out again with family and friends to our second home .
Arrived late afternoon to be swiftly checked in and escorted to our rooms with help from staff .
We requested our usual family room and were pleased to see we were allocated this as we have two wheelchair users in our group .
Pre travel the hotel manager supported with providing a toilet seat raiser for my disabled mother to make her trip a bit more comfortable .
Pool areas great as normal and plenty of sunbeds which have been updated this year , nice to see the quiet pool actually remain quiet for our stay .
We attended one of the new additions this year with the pool foam party this was great fun for all ages .
Hotel spotless as usual and really clean , food was fab as always and we always do the halfboard upgrade .
Drinks have gone up but can’t complain .
Food at patika bar fab as usual with really big portions .
Entertainment fab as always as we mixed it up by going to town some evenings .
World Cup was on and most games shown and all England games have been on which has been great .
We love this place and have booked to come back again next year .
Only concern is the changes pending for the hotel it’s been a big part of our enjoyment of coming to the area this hotel with how it has been over the years and feel the pending changes will ruin such a wonderful one off special place for so many return guests .
Next year may well be our final farewell to such amazing staff and beautiful hotel once all the new changes start happening .
Will be a shame to see

We've just returned from another fantastic stay at Orka Village. We first stayed here back in 2018 when it was Liberty Hotels, and we've continued coming back over the years because of its fantastic location and family-friendly atmosphere.
The hotel is only a 5–10 minute walk from the centre of Hisarönü, making it ideal if you want to be close to the shops, bars and restaurants while still enjoying a quieter setting.
It's a brilliant hotel for families, couple or even solo travellers.
The food is another highlight. Breakfast and dinner offer a great variety of choices, with the fresh omelette station at breakfast being a favourite. The themed evenings and BBQ nights are always enjoyable, and there was plenty to choose from every day.
There's also plenty to keep everyone entertained. During the day there are activities including darts, water polo, volleyball, pool games/challenges. There is also a kids' club and water slides, so there's always something happening for both children and adults. A new update that we managed to take part in was the foam party on Fridays which is new at the hotel and also on our last day there was an inflatable challenge. It was so great to see new ideas happening.
The entertainment team really deserve a special mention. Charlie and ramzy make a great duo with a welcoming atmosphere and work tirelessly from morning until night to make sure everyone has a great holiday. Their energy and enthusiasm make a huge difference.
The only area where I feel the hotel could improve is the poolside bar and waiter service.
The hotel is more or less self service but there was one lovely waitress (i think her name was Silvia) who regularly came around taking drinks orders, and whenever she was working the service was noticeably quicker and much more attentive.
We had another wonderful holiday and would happily return again. The location, entertainment, food and family atmosphere continue to make Orka Village one of our favourite places to stay in Hisarönü.
