GRAND VIZON HOTEL

Rooms were clean. Maids were brilliant, everyday our maid had a different design on our bed, she had a great sense of humour, The pool was cleaned everyday/night. If you asked the staff for anything they would help you. Actually while i was there my bank account got hacked, and i had to contact home and the hotel let me use their phone to sort it all out. (3 hours) so yes Grand Vizon staff did do their best.

Hotel Very outdated, staff indifferent at times, helpful at others. Room overlooked the pool and also overlooked the basement area with a lot of rubbish which we could smell. Room This was outdated, no plugs a for the sink, fridge was. The best thing about this room. Towels were clean but very old and discoloured. Room cleaners did their best with what they had. Unfortunately came back to the room one afternoon to find our balcony door had been left open by the cleaners. Pool Tiles in the bottom of the pool had black mould on them. Tiles around the pool were lifting and we witnessed a gentleman slip. As the pool was raised the sides wee filled in with concrete and painted over....not a good look ! Food Breakfast was 1 choice of cereal, sometimes a hot option of scrambled egg with tomatoes in. Turkish breakfast was always available. Tea, coffee or apple tea was on offer as well. Jams, honey and butter all came in small packs which hardly contained anything in them. Dinner was appealing, one hot option only, plenty of meze, but desert was cold rice pudding or chocolate blancmange also sub standard fruit. We are not fussy but we began eating out. All in all location of this hotel is good for the beach but that is about all. A lot of money is needed to bring it up to a basic standard.

we stayed at Grand Vizon over 3 weeks ago, reviews have been been misleading. If it was not for this hotel we would have had a wonderful holiday. -Rooms Very dark and deprssing, over looking pipes , bedding needed replacing, holes in sheets, towels falling apart. Some days you had to request clean towels or replacment towels. Wet room very wet wet wet .................................. -Food Breakfast very basic , after the first evening meal we decided to eat out, some people had specical treatment and had been waited on , and their table had always been saved for them by staff, bearing in mind we are all paying customers. There was only one option at meal time. BBQ on Thursday Night, dirty trays still remaining in BBQ area on Monday. Cats begging for food at meal times, staff did not care Fridge in room, not allowed to buy sof drinks from outside, water had been taken away from customers, and felt like little children being told off. Some nights Grand Vizon purchased water from the local shop cost 1TL, hotel made a profit of 3TL Pool Area Urent need of repair, tiles around the pool are broken and lifting up, customers were slipping around this area. This had been our first time in Turkey, we feel our holiday would have been wonderful , if the hotel had been up to a basic standard. Would never retun to this out dated hotel ever again.
