Marcan Beach

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations. The breakfast was quite inadequate and lacked flavor. The quality of single-serving breakfast items such as jam and butter was poor. The insides of the hard-boiled eggs were gray; therefore, we thought they might have been pre-boiled and reheated. The foreign employee making omelets for breakfast was quite flustered. She was talking on the phone while preparing the eggs we wanted, and the eggs burned. When we explained the situation politely, they started arguing about whether it had burned or not. I think more care should be taken in communicating with guests. The rooms were quite poorly maintained. The bathroom constantly smelled strongly of bleach, the shower area was old, the hairdryer was broken, and most television channels weren't working. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Because I have a herniated disc, I wake up in the mornings with stiff back. The room lacked basic personal hygiene items such as bathroom slippers, liquid hand soap, cotton swabs, and cotton balls. The small bars of soap left out for washing hands hardly lathered at all. There was no shower gel or shampoo either. There wasn't even a towel rack in the bathroom. The cushions on the pool chairs were quite old and dirty. There was no pool towel service either. The fact that we were only given a single room key despite staying in a double room was a major drawback. The Wi-Fi kept disconnecting in the rooms and wasn't working properly. The rooms do not have kettles, tea bags, or coffee. Additionally, complimentary drinking water is not provided in the rooms daily. The staff were doing their best; I can't say anything negative about that. In particular, the Service Manager, Mr. Tevfik, and the restaurant employee, Mr. Sinan, were very helpful. However, the overall maintenance and service quality of the facility were inadequate. Perhaps one should expect too much for the price, one might say "that's what you get for this price," but I think basic comfort and hygiene standards shouldn't be at this level. Unfortunately, this was one of the most mediocre hotel experiences I've ever had.

Nice pool area clean rooms great animation team. Unfortunately i was really poorly on day 7 of my holiday i returned home to immediately seen my GP it was confirmed i have Salmonella by blood test and stool sample and still.poorly just be very careful what you eat. Night before we were leaving myself & husband were waiting on a taxi one of the chef passed us on the stairs wiping his nose on his black apron absolutely disgusting no wonder ive been so poorly never again will i visit Turkey

We had a great stay at Marcan beach hotel, all of the staff are so friendly and could not do enough for you. Rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. Great location will definitely be back 😁
