Perdikia Hill

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. We travel as a family of 7 and all of our needs were more than met here, the climb up the hill is not for the faint of heart, but the views are amazing from up there. The staff could not do enough, the food and drink are spot on. The Rep Mustafa is brilliant. The pools and entertainment were great. We will be going back. Thank you for a great holiday.

I'm a suckered for a nice view and that's what sold this hotel, but it was a bad choice. The negatives: We stayed in room 1024 in the attic. The TV didn't work, the shower didn't drain and flooded. The maids only came once in a 4 night stay. One day we left the please clean the room sign on the door, the maid told my son to go to lunch so she could clean the room. She moved the clean the room sign and didn't clean the room at all or even bring fresh towels or tissues. A few hours later I went to speak to reception as I wondered what the maid was actually doing in the room. After this the room was eventually cleaned once. They sent a man to fix the TV and the shower drain. He did manage to get the TV to work but didn't manage to fix the shower. My son came down with violent food poisoning so I asked again at reception about the shower not working and if we could have another room and just kept being told she would speak to the manager but he wasn't available at the time. When I explained I may need a Doctor for my son he did come out I said I wasn't sure if it was the chicken tikka from the night before at the hotel as it wasn't very warm. He said the other 425 guests were okay! I don't know if he cought it here but the standards of cleanliness are very poor. Dirty black stains on the floor everywhere. Water leaking everywhere near the coffee machine in the resturant. Stale off cuts of bread from breakfast brought back out for lunch. All the alcohol on all Inc is gross apart from the beer. The food selection is poor other than the salad. It is not even 3 star standards. The pool area is so slippery it's a death trap. The stair grips are missing and the stairs are filthy. The floor around the pool was never properly mopped. On our first day there was a wildfire 15 miles away and the Ash was landing everywhere, all around the pool was black. I don't think they employ enough staff to clean properly. We spent alot of money eating out and in hindsight I wish I had just spent more on a better run hotel. Positives: the staff were very pleasant apart from the manager who just seems to get everyone to gatekeep for him. You can see they are working hard. The view of Babadag and the other mountains. The cute cats that are around the hotel and the fact that they seem quite welcome there. The adult pool for over 16s was nice and peaceful.

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!! This hotel is horrendous, it is filthy dirty everywhere, everything is broken, the pool area is a death trap, the staff are rude, the food is inedible, If you have booked this hotel I would strongly advise changing before you arrive.
