Hilton Dalaman Resort And Spa

The resort could offer so much more! This resort is lovely and spacious but fails to hit the spot on many levels for a 5 star resort. Firstly, all a’la carte restaurants demand an extra fee of 40 euros per person per sitting, which only leaves you with the buffet restaurant for dinner. This is a buffet style and queues for food are often long and you are often left waiting for food to be replenished. The outside dining area is lovely and spacious. The bar areas around the pool are under staffed and inexperienced, no two drinks are the same and you are left waiting for service. Glasses are often dirty. Crisps and peanuts are a nice touch and the choice of beverages are good. There is a good selection of activities in this hotel but the animation team are dull and not very engaged. Make notes of timings of things otherwise they will be missed due to lack of engagement or information. The pool vibe is of relaxation, there is no real buzz other than what you make yourself, The evening entertainment could be better, of the shows we watched, they were of poor quality with poor vocal ability and the other outside bar offered nothing, apart from background noise (one song was silent night) They have beach DJ sets but it was focused on noise as appose to a beach vibe. We didn’t travel with children but the offering for small children looked very good, although I warn the pool are on the deep end. The hotel shop for sweets and inflatable is a total rip off and the sweets we purchased were out of date. The mixers with drinks are either from a pump or flat. Some international brands are available but not readily offered. The rooms are spacious and offer good in room toiletries with a complimentary mini bar. I would recommend a sea view room but not those that overlook the dining hall. There is an abundance of sunbeds around the pools and you don’t have to queue or get up at a ridiculous hour for a sunbed, but I have had better sunbeds in past hotels. The furnishings for a five star hotel do not meet expectations. This resort could do so much better and offer so much more with some fine tuning, it’s a shame.

The Hilton Dalaman was an amazing experience. The buffet food is amazing with a vast array of food for all and an amazing variety of all cuisines. Deniz and the breakfast staff in the glass room were very very helpful and attentive and they in particular made our stay even better.

Just back from our second holiday at Hilton Dalaman and it was even better than the first. The whole place is gleaming, I've never seen so many workers working tirelessly to keep it spotless 24/7. The facilities are amazing, you'll never be short of anything to do if you can tear yourself away from lounging around! We stay in the Lake House and would HIGHLY recommend the upgrade. The peacefulness of having your own swim up pool, dedicated bar, proper sleeping arrangements for 4. Nothing beats it. The food is exceptional, I have 1 child that loves all food and always wants to try something new, and another who is super fussy and both of them found something they loved every single meal time at the main restaurant. There is also countless other restaurants around the resort, snack bars and generally an enormous amount of options and selections at all times of day. The bars are wonderful, drinks available of great quality, Absolut Vodka and Glenlivet 12 yr included in AI! Gorgeous 16+ bar on the top floor, Bar Rouge, has great cocktails too! Staff will come to you and serve you at your seat, so you're never waiting long! The entertainment is like a paid show every night, absolutely fantastic. This year they did late night sessions at the Beach Bar which we really appreciated too, kept the vibes going till 2am which is such a nice touch when you've got older kids who want to keep going after the entertainment finishes at 11! The staff are all wonderful, we absolute love Fatos, she remembered us from last year, she is an absolute credit to the Hilton team along with her brother. Spa is also fantastic! Really great value and wonderful service. Waterpark too, literally of it is just great. I literally can't fault this hotel. Last year we stayed for 1 week, this year 10 days, next year maybe a month?!
