Duru Hotel

The hotel was part of a tour from Alanya to Cappadocia for two days. One night with dinner and breakfast. The room was authentic with stone walls, a wooden ceiling, carpets on the walls and floor, and windows on the town of Avanos. Hotel on the top of a mountain, terrace with excellent views both in daylight and night city lights. The beautiful walking area of Avanos down the hill is easy to reach, you won't get lost. The hotel really liked it. I didn't expect this on tour, because I assume the hotel should be very budget.

Wasn't expecting much, but was still disappointed. Enter the room and it is nothing like the pictures from other reviews; not even a bed to share with my husband; then discover the toilet seat is not attached to the toilet, the bathroom window doesn't close, there is an empty bottle of toiletries left in there from someone else I guess (there is small bottles from hotel, but also a big empty bottle of Dove 🤷🏻‍♀️). There is also holes in the bedding. Lots of notices saying, "you are forbidden from bringing in food or drink from outside", doesn't feel very welcoming, so we must wait until 8 o clock for dinner to begin, but have a child who should be fast asleep by then. Not suited to us as a family.

The hotel wasn't chosen to enter Cappadocia. For a one-night stay is normal. They offered dinner and breakfast, quite decent! Located on high ground , in the evening walked climbing hard. It's basically fine. I can recommend it since they lived one night.
