Museum hotel is a beautiful property. While I understand the history and cultural significance of pigeons in the area I didn’t like that they were encouraged to live there. The best place to sit by the pool had a huge bird house right behind it so you couldn’t sit there without birds swooping past your head. Plus they were around and in the pool …. The pool was too warm. I love dogs but I don’t want them laying on my sun lounger and sitting on the furniture in the restaurant. This is not someone’s home , it’s a hotel. The room was amazing. Very comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Staff were exemplary. They couldn’t do enough for you … The restaurant was overpriced for the standard. Filet Mignon came on a plate alone , not a vegetable in sight or the opportunity to add any unless you bought an entire vegetarian main dish . The menu was limited. There was no opportunity to just have a snack -a sandwich or salad. Breakfast was good . There was no meat to go with eggs though. This is not a hotel for you if you have any mobility issues or dietary restrictions but if you’re an influencer you’ll love it !

This hotel is absolutely divine and I could not fault a thing. The breakfast and dinner at Lily restaurant we’re beautiful. You must try the Beet cocktail. It was divine. The room was an excellent size for two friends sharing with a number of suitcases. The bathroom was large. The other treat was the peacock garden and the turtle garden.
