Golden Palas Hotel

We had the chance to stay on 3.9.2023. Definitely don't pay attention to the pictures. The hotel is not clean at all, you cannot sleep, it smells. There is a wedding hall on the ground floor, we listened to music until the morning, unfortunately, and it is definitely not worth the money you paid. The pictures may be the pictures of the first roads of the hotel. I definitely think he doesn't deserve it.

Stayed for 3 nights during a business trip in January 2019. This hotel is marginally better than others in the town of Çerkezköy, but honestly is more than basic. My room was an executive suite, a large room with 2 seating areas and huge window with drapes floor to ceiling. Problem was that they were very dirty and permanently closed, as the view was directly in to the garage next door. There is a shortage of working lights along with some very shabby damaged wall paper. There was a huge 2 person bath (also in the living area)?? That was unusable because water was broken - so only looks good. The bathroom was dirty, toilet leaked, and then stopped flushing and the hand basin water does not work. There is A/C that is supposed to be controlled from the reception desk, my room was 30C in January. The best they could advise was open the windows.. Breakfast is included, but the quality is more than terrible. Coffee is cheap, buffet is wrapped and clearly prepared the previous day, and on my 2nd day all of the boiled eggs had been cooked in a microwave oven. (Yolk was solid/ White was runny) really poor!! Advice - keep driving and stay somewhere else!!

Non-smoking room stank of smoke, food bang below average, air con didn't work, traffic noise horrendous. Manageress was scary in a gangster-style way. Breakfast was ok. One positive was the concierge was very efficient at ordering a fast taxi outta there! I would avoid the whole town to be honest.
