The hotel has an excellent location and great staff especially Hussein who was fantastic. We enjoyed our 5 nights stay very my much. As for the negative aspects, there is no safe in the room, the room is not big, and it needs a better soundproof.

Spent three nights with my family. The location on the lake is perfect and the view is stunning. Service is excellent especially Ibrahim. They take care of any request you ask for and they try to keep you happy. They have beside it a restaurant and coffee kiosk for Arabic coffee and karak tea. The guy is named Ashraf and is very welcoming and funny.

Like most of the Trabzon environment, Uzun Göl, a beautiful tiny lake between alpine mountains, offering a peaceful break though harshly structured by hotels and gift stores selling similar objects, is not gifted by a memorable accomodation. The hotel is located at the other side of the lake where many hotels are situated., You have to drive through the small village of Uzungöl and through the road on the side of lake to arrive the hotel, a fifteen minutes walk from the village. The main building and the bungalows, all with wooden exterior, lined on the either side of a nice manicured garden with ponds, yet there is nothing to write home about the lobby, rooms and restaurant. We have stayed at a bungalow, (for four) and it was two of us so we had enough space to lay our suit cases and clothes but the room can be very unaccomodating if it was more person. We heard the same complaint from our friends who had stayed at the rooms in the main building. Not enough space for suitcases, no reading lamp or a chair to throw things on . Carelessly decorated rooms poor furniture and bathroom ( ours was flooded during shower due to poor drainage) . Yet the rooms were clean, hot water was running the the air full of oxygen makes you feel more relaxed then what hotel is offering . Our guide warned that this hotel is among the few with acceptable conditions in Uzungöl. We were there in July so the weather was pleasent but I do not know the colder conditions since it can get quite cold . The breakfast was open buffet yet nothing exciting; few cheese , olives, jam, eggs, no local suprises, no special produce from the area, industrial bread, for me it was a real disappointment since the area is so beautiful one expect more. The dinner was okey but the restaurant with its poor lightening, decoration or tv to replace music is not a place you want to spend more time than needed . There is a river which feeds Uzungöl is running by the hotel and you can walk on a walking trail by the river and around the lake which takes about an hour to complete. The hotel offers acceptable accomodation if you stay overnite and won't spend much time in the room. The hotel has a parking lot. Located on the other side of the lake among most of the hotels.
