I booked this place in a rush and was skeptical, especially since I know the local hotel scene inside and out. Check-in was a headache. They strictly required a physical Emirates ID. I forgot mine, walked back to grab it, and then hit another snag when my friend's ID showed as expired in their system.
The front desk agent wouldn't budge, but he called the manager over. The manager saved the day by accepting a passport copy since the new ID was processing.
Once we got past the desk, everything turned around. The location is brilliant with an amazing view, and the weekend energy is lively thanks to the on-site bar and restaurant.
Our 12th-floor room blew past expectations. We got a massive, spotless bedroom, a huge drawing room with a balcony offering breathtaking morning views, and a fully equipped kitchen. Having TVs in both the living and drawing rooms was a nice touch, and being high up meant it stayed quiet despite the bustling atmosphere downstairs.
Pricing had a few minor hiccups Agoda added an extra 24 bucks at booking, and the front desk collected an extra 15 for city tax.
Aside from the billing surprises and the rigid check-in policy, this place delivered incredible value. I would definitely stay here again.
