Great location, lovely staff, very comfortable bed. Pool & gym an added bonus! Delicious breakfast , made freshly for you. Will definitely be back! As an added note, there were 2 blind guests staying at the same time, Wendy could not do enough for them. From guiding them from their rooms for breakfast, serving their drinks, cutting up food etc... All done with patience and a smile!

Booked a one night stay as we were visiting friends at a local motorhome park. Dropped off car in car park early and the staff were very friendly and didn’t have a problem with us leaving our car. Check in was seamless. Room was ok, but dated. They are modernising the rooms and it will make a big difference, once completed. A bit short on staff at times. Breakfast was ok.

We are currently on holiday and had a wonderful experience at Royal Hotel. Although they don’t usually offer high tea during the week, the team kindly accommodated our request and put together an amazing spread of food for us. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. What really stood out was how accommodating and attentive the staff were throughout nothing was too much trouble. We genuinely couldn’t fault the team in any way and would highly recommend them to anyone visiting the area!
