Ashbank Hotel

From the second you arrive at this little family run hotel your treated like family, forget about facilities just enjoy the way things used to be friendly warm comfortable hospitality in a beautiful location, this hotel and the lovely owners and locals alike managed to take me back to my childhood for whatever the reason I'm not sure but it just felt like coming home, continental breakfast was perfect too fresh and inviting with ample choice served in their little bar area which doubles up as the local drinking hole in the evening, a huge thank you to Lizzie Sharon John and Skipper for making our short stay so memorable. We stayed in 2 rooms No 1 Twin and No 5 Double. No 1 had a wee bit better accessible shower but that was all. The rooms were immaculate and very, very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and hairdryer brilliant. The view was stunning across the fields to the sea. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was very wonderful. Continental loads of breads, fruit, ham, cheese, upgirt, boiled eggs and the rest. We ate in the hotel on the first evening from their small bites menu. Brilliant. I can't recommend this wee gem enough. Will definitely use again.

Loved this place. A family run BnB in a beautiful part of the Mull of Kintyre. The family are so friendly and helpful. Had a lovely night in the bar eating from the small bites menu and chatting with the locals. Room with a beautiful view and excellent value for money. Excellent continental breakfast.
