Regent

The outside of this hotel is shabby but it's better inside. The room was clean, except above the wardrobe, the en suite has been upgraded and is fine. The hotel is central although there is virtually no parking. Steps leading up to hotel so no good for disabled. The room was not big but acceptable for the price we paid. Please get rid of the shabby rug in the room which looks unclean. We did not eat in the hotel as he seemed unsure about gf. We did love Oban.

Adequate food but no seafood offered for our group meals. One room had sewage backed up into the shower and was not corrected nor even apologized for.

When we arrived, we were worried just by the look of the hotel! It really needs TLC! Fortunately, the inside is much better! The reception was always friendly and helpful. Our room ( side seaview) was spacious , clean and provided good bedding. Bathroom on the small side but with a good shower. The only downfall was breakfast. Really bad to say the least. The sitting with a view always reserved for groups!!
