The Oxfordshire Hotel & Spa

A slightly disappointing experience, we had booked to stay overnight, use the spa and for partners to play golf. They enjoyed the golf and the food was very good in the restaurant but the spa really needed some improvements, with many lockers not working and feeling unclean in places. Our room was a good size but the shower tray in our room had a large crack through it as well as needing cleaning. It felt that they forgot the smaller details throughout, with young staff who were all very pleasant but maybe needed some more training. We enjoyed our time away but wouldn’t rush to go back unfortunately.

Not great. Just arrived. Room looks nothing like the pictures online. It’s incredibly dated and not pleasant. Didn’t request an accessible room but have been given one which is really not nice at all. Not a nice place to stay. Asked to switch rooms but nothing available, yet the place is dead with nobody around. Wouldn’t book again to be honest.

Had a really lovely time here, especially breakfast which was great. Big thanks to Archie who was brilliant, extremely helpful and very polite!
