Located a mile from the city centre. Good atmosphere, lovely rooms and building. Bed ok, bathroom lovely. Good value for money. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast great, plenty of choices.

We have been many times before & it's always like a second home. The staff, from Anna in reception the owner Liz to waitresses Irene and Titiana are exemplary. The food is also outstanding. We will be back soon.

Stayed for here again recently having stayed previously . We like the close proximity to walk into Chester and having a car park too. Very efficient staff and room is adequate for what we need. We were however disappointed this time in the fact that they are charging extra if you want both Continental breakfast and a cooked breakfast. You can have either cereals/yoghurt/pastries OR cooked breakfast without extra charge but as in our case we do like to start with a bowl of cereal then have something cooked eg scrambled eggs, not necessarily a Full English and this was an extra charge of £2.50 each. Also disappointed that most of the wines on the wine list at dinner were not available and instead we were offered a cheap bottle that could easily be bought in the local convenience store. Having said that the food was excellent and could not be faulted at all!!!
