WOW , well let's do the positive, ... the two ladies on reception were Fantastic! And that's the only good thing. Says free car park...you have to pay £10, there is not a proper restaurant or bar. I was told they have a limited menu....NOT kidding only a choice of 4 mains (overpriced) hotel is VERY dated, rooms large but sparce, no bedside tables only 1 tall wardrobe. Had to swop my TV as not work, then had to swop remote as still nor work. Room was very hot so had windows open...then VERY noisy with traffic, and kitchen emptying glass bottles into bins. I have given 1 star because I could not give minus one. Bottom line 'you can't polish a @@@@!' AVOID

We stayed over night to break up a long journey. Slightly apprehensive regarding the hotels recent history but was so glad to experience a clean and comfy stay. Check in was easy, £10 to park overnight which you pay for at the reception desk. Our room was big, plenty of room and everything was clean and tidy. The mattresses were very soft but for one night this wasn’t an issue. There were plug sockets all over the room which is always a plus for us, large screen tv, a fan and a window that opened. My only negative was I had forgotten my shampoo and the tiny sachets they supplied in the bathroom wasn’t enough so would definitely recommend using own products. Breakfast was buffet style, between 6:30 and 9:30am, both hot and continental was on offer. The dining room for breakfast was lovely and bright, everything laid out and easy to find, we saw the hot food being replenished often by the cook. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would definitely book again if we needed to.
