Holt Lodge Hotel

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Wrexham and cannot recommend it highly enough! A massive, special shout-out to Caz, who went above and beyond for us from the moment we stepped through the door. We arrived late, but Caz made sure we were looked after immediately, arranging with the kitchen so we could still get a hot meal. That level of kindness and attentiveness set the tone for our entire stay. Speaking of food—the burger we had on arrival was absolutely amazing! Breakfast was equally impressive and amazing value for money, with the choice of hot cooked-to-order dishes, continental options, or both, alongside fresh filtered coffee to start the day right. Our room was everything we needed: spotless, warm, and comfortable. The only minor downfall was the noise insulation between rooms, as we could hear the guests next door and above us talking and walking around. However, the top-notch service, fantastic food, and overall value far outweighed that one downside. Thank you to Caz and the team for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our three nights at Hotel Wrexham. The best part was that they offered a Hospitality Package that included tickets to a Wrexham AFC match, which are virtually impossible to get. We wrote them several months in advance and only heard a couple of weeks before our arrival that they had a package available. Note that the Hotel is several miles away from Wrexham and you will need a taxi to get to town. But the property is decent, mid-range, and the restaurant and bar are very good. The shower may have been the best of anywhere we've ever stayed! Lots of hot water and great pressure. The people were great and the room was fine for our purposes. If you're just visiting Wrexham, you might want to stay in town. But this worked well for us and we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel offers a Wrexham AFC match game & stay package that turned out to be a perfect 2-night stay for us. Located about a 12-minute drive from the racecourse and village center, the hotel grounds are beautiful, the hotel comfortable & clean, and The Savvy Fox Pub warm & welcoming. Stephanie at the reception desk was invaluable, helping us with transportation and (what seemed like) a thousand little things, and Jules from Group Sales was instrumental is securing our match tickets. Between the two, they made our stay seamless and very special. Hopefully we will be able to visit again one day!!
