Rookery Hall Hotel And Spa

After attending a wedding open day at The Rookery, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for our big day. Throughout the planning process we dealt with Emma, Leanne and Lauren and they were absolutely amazing in helping us make sure everything was planned and responded to any queries we had quickly! On the day Daisy and Kieran were brilliant in ensuring everything was in place and making sure we knew what was going on and where we needed to be! Them and their entire team worked so hard throughout the day making sure everything ran smoothly, that it allowed us to have such a relaxed day. All our guests had a fantastic time and all said how stunning the grounds are and how professional and polite every single member of staff was that they interacted with. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and they made us all feel so welcome and special throughout the few days we were there. Between you all you have given us a truly amazing and unforgettable wedding day and we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stunning venue with the most amazing staff.

Not even sure where to start! I was due to stay for one night as part of a ' tour' but the previous hotel supposed to be 4* was terrible so instead of staying three nights there I stayed one. I phoned Rookery Hall to ask if they could extend my room from one night to three. They were amazing and found me the perfect room for my requirements and even upgraded me. From arrival at Reception who were pleasant, welcoming and friendly, to the lovely concierge Peter who drove my car to just outside where my room would be and carried my bags, to the room. From the staff who brought up my room service breakfast and meals in my room on three occasions who were lovely, polite and friendly. To the cleaners who keep everything immaculate. I could not have asked for more. The food is outstanding! I chose from the lounge bar menu on two occasions ( the small plates were fabulous and not that small! To the feta and spinach filo pie...wow!). I have been to Rookery hall in the past when I lived locally on several occasions to the restaurant just for dinner and stayed for a night in 2002 when I got married there. But this service was something else. The bedrooms in the new wing are huge and have everything you would expect and more. With the two previous 4* hotels that i stayed at this fortnight being so poor, thank goodness Rookery Hall made up for them! This hotel has the service levels of a 5* establishment and the management should be proud of their staff. Thank you!

What can I say about this place? Not enough really. We booked an overnight package to celebrate our anniversary. We had a lovely, friendly, warm welcome from the Reception staff. The room was just the Wow factor. The food was tasty and well presented and of good value, the atmosphere and the friendliness from the staff in the lounge bar was second to non. Lovely couple entertaining us on the terrace with live music was a bonus. The choice for breakfast was fantastic and enjoyed by both of us. The spa facilities were good and we had excellent treatments followed by relaxing in the relaxation room. The afternoon was amazing but we were beaten and brought some home to enjoy later. What made this day special? The friendliness of all the staff around the complex. The wow factor of the room. The special personal touches and little treats given to us throughout the entire time of our stay. The bonus of live entertainment on the terrace. The excellent quality of the food. Amazing treatments from the ladies in the spa. Would I book again? I certainly would and I would also recommend to others.
