Really friendly and helpful staff at reception. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed. No restaurant but it wasn't too much of an issue as we knew in advance.

Had an email stating hotel was being renovated, no sign of this just a closed pub next door. Also we sent an email stating restaurant was closed but we would be given free coffee and pastries for breakfast, receptionist said they had no facilities to do this, when I spoke to customer relations they blamed the manager. Manager did call me the following day and gave me one night’s money back, trying to get the other night back as well, after all we didn’t stay

Very run down with just a 4'6'' bed. Everything needs refurbishment. No catering as the pub attached to the accommodation is closed and up for sale.
