I’ve stayed here many times and really enjoyed it. This time however I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There were a few tiny ants running about the bathroom floor. I also had to re home two large spiders and there were cobwebs on and around the ceiling

Brilliant week over new year 2025/26, visiting relatives locally, seeing, accommodation lovely and snug on winter night, well kept and serviced, breakfasts excellent well prepared and presented. Sunday lunches were great, plenty and flavoursome, pre panto meet-up. Bar well stocked, warm and staff welcoming plus helpful. Definitely recommend the great stopover any time of year…

Fascinating place, one of the most interesting interiors I’ve seen in a long time, a cross between Hogworts and St. Trinian's, beautifully put together and well kept. The outside seating and the beer garden area is outstanding, with a great backdrop of the ‘Wybunbury Tower’ adding to the Hogworts theme… it’s good they have some letting rooms by the carpark, not the largest rooms but adequate and kept, very convenient if your having a couple of days away in the countryside. The Wybunbury Moss is within easy reach starting at the back of the carpark / church yard of the Tower. The rooms are within easy access of all pub facilities, with parking for each room by the front doors, breakfast is very good especially the sausages and bacon, eggs very fresh, we didn’t have the Full English but it looked fabulous, we just had eggs and bacon…. Menu was very good, great selection, I had the curry and my partner had the fish & chips on the first night both were very enjoyable, on the Sunday we had the Sunday lunch ‘Roasts, one Beef and one Pork, both very well cooked and presented 6 vegetables, Yorkshire and meat, plenty of gravy, apple sauce and other standard condiments…. All prices have increased lately, with the food and drinks all well within today’s norms same as the nightly room rates…. All in all a well kept, and well run country pub with rooms, definitely recommend it, and we will be returning for the granddaughters school holidays and theatre performances…
