The only great thing about this hotel is the location. Very overpriced for what you get. Definitely a shabby hotel that looks much nicer online than in person. Some modern touches like newer bathrooms. Loud all night with doors banging and people in hallways. Friendly staff at the front desk. Afternoon tea was nice but the service from staff was terrible. We had to get up multiple times to find milk for the tea, and ask for other things; no one ever checks on you. Very slow service. We ate dinner there on a different night and it was ok. Slightly better service. There was a wedding while we were there- loud obnoxious music late into the night. Awful for getting young kids to sleep. They should have told us when we booked, as we would have stayed elsewhere. Drunk people everywhere and the smell marijuana all over 2nd floor was so gross.

A friendly hotel with some nice touches. Close to the beach. Food was ok. We thought it was far more like a 3 star, quite shabby in areas. Awful sleep, noisy, doors banging most of the night.

Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, easy parking, nice rooms, comfy beds, modern bathrooms and very clean throughout. Nice food in breakfast room and in dining room upstairs overlooking the terrace and beach. Good soundproofing- knew families were staying there as saw them at breakfast and at the swimming pool but didn’t hear a thing in our room. Very nice Swimming pool with loungers and hot room. Would definitely recommend
