BEST WESTERN Waterloo Hotel

Good location for shops etc, good ,large size hotel room.Terrible internet connection in room,Do not book if you need good wi fli .Did not have evening meal as menu seemed limited.Very disappointed with breakfast Staff helpful

We stopped in a superior lodge and our first impression was the tatty front door and the poor state of the flower baskets and beds. The exterior needs work done to bring it up to superior standard, like a coat of paint on the door and windows. The interior was smartly, well presented and generally clean. I suspect the bathroom has been recently decorated, with modern shower, tiles and sanity ware. However the window and frame needs painting, the door handles needs covers and it's a shame that the door hits the toilet. The tables and dressing table could do with a rub down and a coat of varnish, all a bit shabby and not in a chic way. It lack attention to details and spoilt the overall image of what could be a superior room. Not value for money, especially in the bar, outrageous prices. However the location is ideal as it's a short 5min walk to the town centre. The service at reception was excellent with a warm welcome and a smile. The restaurant staff were also friendly, even if it was sometimes difficult to catch they eye. The cooked Welsh breakfast was average at best. Really need to upgrade the sausage. Nice quick toaster though. Overall we were disappointed with the stay.

Food and srvice very good and location
