Glyntwrog House

Excellent, kind, friendly and accommodating host. Incredible breakfast, perfect location. Rooms clean, tidy and cosy. Comfy beds. You must stay here if you can!

Oh where to start…… We LOVED IT! To start, location is amazing. It’s so close to tons of trails and hikes in Snowden. And there’s an adorable pub a very short walk from the house which had amazing food. As soon as you walk into the home we were greeted by the owner, Sean. His personality is so happy, energetic, and welcoming. You feel like you’re family coming home for the holidays. In the foyer he has books and trail guides for Snowden. Including a large map of all the trails which we found so helpful since this was our first time hiking it. We went upstairs to our room which was impeccably clean. The bed was comfortable and inviting. Room amenities include, but aren’t limited too, a fan, coffee machine, coffee, some chocolate, shampoo/conditioner, a desk with a makeup mirror, towels, etc. breakfast is complimentary and it was delicious! The night prior Sean asked us what we would like to eat, if we had allergies, and what time we’d like to eat. The next morning when we came down our table was so beautifully set up. Sean made the breakfast and it was so delicious and the presentation was like it was from a Michelin star restaurant. We really can’t say enough good things about this bed and breakfast. It truly was an amazing experience. We definitely plan on coming back but next time we want to bring the whole family!

Just left Glyntwrog House today and already we want to go back! First off, the location is brilliant, just far enough outside Betws-y-Coed to be quiet, but walking distance into town. We have had a fantastic stay, its a beautiful building, then you add a beautifully decorated and spacious room, luxuriously comfortable bed with fab bedclothes, everywhere spotless and nothing too much trouble for star of the show Sean. We enjoyed some great banter, amazing breakfasts, and his wealth of knowledge about the area, and where best to go to ensure we had a brilliant time - can't thank him and Mary-Ann enough.
