Bowood Park Hotel

Amazing experience from start to finish wow what a place! The most picturesque hotel i’ve ever stayed at, the hotel grounds location is a golf course and not being a golfer myself it’s amazing to look at out of the window. The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant is vibrant with ALL the staff being helpful and welcoming from the moment we stepped into the place. The bar staff were exceptional. A special thank you to Nicola and Nigel in the bar for being so accommodating and helpful during my stay. The food was sooo delicious, there was so much choice at the breakfast buffet i was amazed! The main menu has a brilliant amount of choices, from gluten free and dairy free and vegetarian. It’s extremely inclusive, being gluten free i was amazed and felt so seen! The value of the food was also incredible, The value for the stay and the rooms was incredible, the rooms were very clean and tidy when first arriving, the cleaners did an amazing job at refreshing the room also. I will most definitely be returning and recommending this hotel for anyone who is exploring cornwall or looking for a relaxing weekend away. Many thanks again and I can’t wait to return.

We had a really good 4 night stay at the hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was ideal for us coming back to the hotel and not wanting to go out again to eat. The room was clean and well provisioned. We would stay again. The only slight negative for our room was the soundproofing as you could hear the next room turning on the light . An ideal base for walking on Bodmin and the SW coastpath, paddleboarding and surfing

Lovely staff, so helpful, kind and considerate. Beautiful grounds and golf course, children loved the driving range. Breakfast delicious.
