Rosemundy House Hotel

I’m afraid I didn’t feel this hotel lived up to its 3 star rating. Overall, the hotel felt tired and run down and is in urgent need of a facelift. Our room, number 34, was quite dark and the bed was very uncomfortable, which made for a disappointing night’s sleep. On the positive side, the room did have a small private patio with artificial grass, and the walk in shower was excellent. The evening meal was another disappointment. The choice was limited and, unfortunately, the food on offer wasn’t particularly appetising. Breakfast, however, was a completely different story and was very good, with a much better selection. One thing I found particularly disappointing was the lack of fresh fruit. Other than at breakfast, there was no fresh fruit available at all, and even at breakfast the choice was limited to very thinly sliced melon or pineapple. The staff may well have been doing their best, but overall the condition and standard of the hotel left a lot to be desired. . There are some positives, particularly the excellent walk in shower and good breakfast, but they weren’t enough to outweigh the negatives. Sadly, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Very nice stay again staff great

This is a fabulous hotel, and we had a great stay recently. We were in room 53, which is a fabulous room and overlooking the pool area. The staff were all lovely, so helpful and welcoming The food was fabulous as well. A great stay and we thank everyone at the Rosemundy Hotel
