The Headland Hotel and Spa

We had an exceptional 2 day stay here and were pleasantly surprised with the detail and high standard all aspects of this hotel. The room we stayed in was delightful (room 8) and in very good order with scones and 2 glasses of bubbly on arrival (wedding anniversary). The bar area is lovely and relaxed as is the dining room at breakfast. A nice touch is pre ordering your breakfast the night before, never seen this, great idea. I have stayed at many hotels/B and Bs and this is easily one of the best, well done.

We had an exceptional stay at Headland House B&B hosted by the very friendly and accommodating Mark & Fenella. Upon arrival Mark greeted us, checked us in and gave us a brief tour of their lovely B&B, then showed us to our room. We booked room 7, Heligan Room, which has a small private garden, a very comfy bed and a lovely freestanding bath. The B&B is appointed very well throughout with lovely modern homely decoration and colours. Each morning we had a delicious breakfast sat in the conservatory looking out over the stunning Carbis Bay. The little thoughtful details throughout our stay made it all the more special, there were small delicious smoothie shots at the table at breakfast and cake left in the room each day. The B&B is in a stunning setting looking out over Carbis Bay, there is a train station 2 minutes walk down the road and a beautiful costal path leading to St Ives. Overall we had an fantastic experience with Mark and Fenella at Headland House B&B.

My husband and I stayed at Headlands House earlier this month and would definitely recommend it. Beautiful location, lovely accomodation, delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts - nothing was too much trouble for Mark and Fenella. We stayed in the Net Loft and it didn't disappoint - lovely big bed, twin sinks, huge bath, powerful shower. Very quiet (apart from the seagulls!). Parking was a huge bonus. The train station is a minute or so walk from here and takes a couple of minutes to get to St Ives - it costs around £5 for a day ticket so you can go back and forth as many times as you want. However, my husband and I walked to St Ives most of the time - it's a beautiful walk taking about 25 minutes. We would definitely recommend Headlands House and would love to return at some point in the future.
