The Fountain Tavern

My partner and I stopped off for Sunday lunch. We found the price and food excellent. The beef was delicious and a proper joint, not processed. My partner's turkey " was lovely". The vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes were excellent 👌. Cheapest glasses of wine we have encountered in Penzance and just as good.

We recently enjoyed a wonderfully comfortable two-night stay at The Fountain Tavern in Penzance and couldn't have been happier with our experience. As we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome by the friendly and attentive staff. Our room was spotless, cosy, and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring two great nights' sleep after exploring the local area. The location is not too bad, making it easy to enjoy all that Penzance has to offer while still providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel valued as guests throughout our stay. We would happily recommend The Fountain Tavern to anyone visiting Penzance and look forward to returning soon. A fantastic place to stay!
