Westbourne House

Splendid place, welcoming and clean rooms, abundant breakfast, strategic location near the seafront. Josh was very kind, gave us valuable suggestions and helped us organize our days. I have incredible memories of Penzance also thanks to this accommodation. I highly recommend Westbourne Guest House and will definitely stay there again!

The monumental price of this property was its main undoing. The rooms lacked character and warmth had awful pictures on the walls (which were for sale - it's a shame that they weren't actually nice pictures.). The continental breakfast was of the lowest quality and really showed how little the owner thinks of the guests. For the price of the rooms, it's a bit of a cheek to have such poor quality items (the jam wasn't even proper jam just that cheap nasty stuff which is full of sugar and little to no actual fruit). Thankfully the rooms were clean and quiet and the manager was friendly and helpful. It's just a shame their penny pinching left such a bitter impression.

Lovely traditional seaside B&B. Host very welcoming, spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable, continental breakfast. 5 minute walk from seafront and 10 mins to town centre. Good value and will definitely be returning
