The Cherrypickers B&B

A lovely B&B with all the facilities and space you could wish for making it feel like home from home. The breakfast was very nice, there was something for everyone whatever your preference. The B&B is located a short walk from Mevagissey centre so it's ideally located for walking into the harbour on an evening for dinner/drinks etc. Great find :)

We stayed here on the last night of an August bank holiday break walking the coast path. Each of us had what was effectively a suite of rooms, with enormous (and very comfortable) beds, powerful showers, and a kitchen for making those all-important cups of tea. Lorraine really put herself out to make us at home, even meeting us with our luggage at the station after our walk the following day. Breakfast, with home made fruit cup, was delicious. If you go anywhere in Mevagissey, you have to climb a hill, but the peaceful location – in the middle of a quiet estate – and the welcome made it worth it. We booked dinner at the popular Salamander restaurant, which justified its reputation by serving delicious fresh fish with unfussy efficiency.

Il keep this short, don't be in any doubt about booking this BnB as it is first class. Lorraine is the perfect hostess, the breakfast was lovely, the en suite room was perfect and spacious. She even joined us for drinks in the village on saturday night. Theres a parking spot available per room. A kitchen to make food or a cuppa when you like, a fridge for your food.
