Borthalan Hotel

A wonderful welcome, superb comfort and delicious breakfast. My daughter and I had a lovely few days and felt as though we were being looked after by good friends. Garden to sit in, quiet and peaceful, and lounge to enjoy a relaxing evening drink. Thoroughly recommend and would love to revisit

Myself and my husband had such a lovely stay here! Margaret and Martin are such lovely hosts, so helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the bay view room and we had the most gorgeous view of the sea plus very comfy bed, very quiet at night as well. Tasty breakfast and they have a bar downstairs as well if you want to sit there and have a drink or take up to the room. Location is just perfect, just under 5 min walk to the train station and 3 min train journey into St Ives if you wanted to visit there. The train runs every 30 min. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

We had the Bay View room and it was worth the upgrade! We loved waking up to the amazing views every morning. Margret and Martin were lovely hosts, we really enjoyed the made to order breakfast every morning. The location can’t be beat, a 3-min train ride to St Ives or a 20-min walk along the coastal path. Borthalan House was a great find!
