Great location and we found the service at reception very efficient and the quality of the food very good. The service in the restaurant and the bar was very average. The room was clean and ok but the bathroom was in need of updating. The breakfast was average but the dining area was in need of renovation and the carpets looked dirty. Overall a bit tired and not great value for money.

We are regular visitors here and love it! Last nights visit was slightly disappointing. Our room was good and one we've stayed in before. However, a few tiny issues. No milk on tea and coffee tray, basic offerings on coffee selection. Cheap and nasty! Tissue box in bathroom empty. Dirty finger marks around light switches. Due to very very noisy creaky floorboards above, we were woken several times by the guests above when they came to bed, getting up in right to use the bathroom and at 7am when they got up! Very noisy night! Other than that, great stay as usual. Maybe cleaning needs to be more thorough and supplies etc double checked.

Went for dinner with our son and daughter in law , was quite busy for a Monday night , this made service a bit slow , food was good though. Lovely setting
