What a surprisingly fantastic stay here this weekend... the reviews are a bit (lot) harsh ... location great, room clean and comfortable, food great , atmosphere is relaxed , beautifully ciuntry house with loads of character ,dog friendly, 7 year okd friendly , grounds are lovely, 10 mins from lakes in one direction , 10 mins to st bees beach in the other! Cant wait to see it restored, this place is one to watch !!! we will definitely be back ... all if the team are wonderful, polite, helpful bit Rachel and Alana are the above and beyond people ... ignore the reviews ,be immersed in the splendour, see you soon 😊

As a last minute wedding venue due to The Solway Hall being closed at short notice, we can not thank The staff at The Ennerdale Country House enough. They went above and beyond to make our mams wedding the absolute best. Thank you all so much!

Booked here to celebrate my little girls 1st birthday party as we had a lot of guests coming. The staff here are super friendly and couldn’t do any more to help you. The whole grounds are lovely and great for kids to run around. We ordered a buffet for the party sandwiches chips and chicken nuggets for the kids, all fantastic. Rachel who worked there was amazing and such a lovely friendly woman! Everyone loved the party! We will be retuning here next for food and drinks and hopefully another party!! Thank you so much guys you are amazing!
