Knoll Country House

I feel honoured and privileged to have experienced Jen’s warm, friendly and most wonderful hospitality during my stay this weekend. The Knoll is a beautiful house, that is obviously well and truly loved. The room, facilities and attention to detail is second to none throughout. Clean, comfortable and charming. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will most definitely be returning. Five stars is not enough…it should be Ten!!!

We had three days at the Knoll. From our arrival we felt very safe with regards to COVID. The warm welcome and attention to detail made for a special time. In spite of COVID and staff shortages the menu was good and everything we had tasted really nice. Nothing was too much trouble for Denise and we are already thinking about another visit!

This was a truly amazing place to stay. The staff/ owners were friendly and approachable. It felt like coming to stay with old friends, everything was relaxed and comfortable. However, this did not mean relaxed standards, the house was well looked after and pristine. Staff/owners were professional and efficient. We had food to the room in the evening and breakfast in the room too, the food was of the highest standard and nothing was too much trouble. This place really walks the line between chilled out and friendly, with five star service. We felt relaxed and well looked after and really hope we can come back one day.
