MACDONALD SWAN

We had a brilliant stay at The Swan. The staff were lovely and the location is incredible, with so many amazing walks nearby. A special mention to Nigel, who gave us some fantastic recommendations and made sure we didn’t miss anything during our trip, better than a tour guide! He also kept our dog very happy with plenty of treats 😂 We really appreciated it and would definitely stay again!

One of my favourite places to stay whenever I visit the Lakes. So central to everywhere but gently nestled back from the crowds so you can chill out and unwind. The staff are very welcoming, rooms are spacious and clean plus the food was gorgeous (new menu since I was last there, really tasty) Loved the new parking system, so much easier for those staying overnight at The Swan to find a parking space. Signs are all over notifying visitors to input their car registration details at reception. So a little unsure why some negative comments around this situation. Maybe people who just used to park up for free without even frequenting The Swan possibly? Great stay, thank you!!

We have stayed at many Inn Collection hotels and this was our 1st visit to the Swan at Grasmere & it didn’t disappoint. You know what youre going to get - great service, quality accommodation & good food. Location is excellent just a stroll into Grasmere village. Great beer garden. As with all Inn Collection hotels we have stayed at they are great value for money.
