The Punch Bowl

Stopped off for lunch today. It was very busy with Xmas parties by the looks of it but squeezed us in. We chose 2 courses off Xmas menu which was very good value for money @ £23.95 each. Food was very good -and hot, - turkey , stuffing, pigs in blankets, mash potato, roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips, red cabbage, Brussel sprouts, corn, sugar snap/beans? Deserts - Christmas pudding and brandy sauce for hubby and I had espresso martini cheesecake which was delicious. I highly recommend this establishment and we will certainly visit again. Thank you for serving quality food.

A really friendly and welcoming community pub. Staff are always friendly and willing to engage. Which is so different from some other places, where you get “who’s next “ and nothing after that. The Punch Bowl is well worth a visit, the food is excellent.

Lovely family run pub with great welcoming atmosphere and excellent food choices. The homemade pies are a must as is the Sunday roast. Really lovely staff and great service.
