Dreadful place. Some windows had very rusted hinges- one window was screwed down - the lamp shade was full of dust - the wardrobe was broken - the toilet didn’t flush and there were blood stains on the toilet. We told the person in charge about the window and he said it couldn’t be unscrewed until tomorrow! Presumably they couldn’t even locate a cross head screw driver!!! We asked him to come and look at everything else and he refused- we left!

Live locally and was meeting up with friends to do some walking in the Borrowdale valley. Chose to stay here with the dog during this heatwave. The hotel proved more reliable than my friends on this trip. Lovely stay at the hotel, with my dog. Lovely decorated room. Superb bathroom facilities. Spent more in the bar than I did on food in the hotel. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of variety. Staying at the hotel made my holiday break really nice.
