Brooklands - Guest house

Was already staying in Bowness and wanted to add on a night and found this lovely place. First time for us staying this end of Bowness and we really liked it. Its a quieter side but only a short walk to the busier area around the lake. Perfect! Really lovely hosts and our room was fab, breakfast was too. Definitely going to look tbis place up when we visit again. Thank you Karen and Andy

Andy & Karen are the perfect hosts. Friendly, professional and accommodating. The location is ideal for Bowness and the ferry; and if you don’t fancy the walk back (like me) from the village, a local cab fare is only £4.50! The bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast is lovely. What Andy & Karen provide is good quality and excellent value for money. I will definitely go again.

This guesthouse is fabulous, very homely and a 3 minute drive from the town centre & the lake. It’s the perfect location as It is situated down a quiet lane away from any noise. Windermere on Bowerness itself is just absolutely stunning. We stayed in the family room which was homely, spacious with a private bathroom. It was my daughter’s 3rd Birthday and they put a lit candle in her hash brown with her breakfast which she was thrilled about . We had an amazing time & will be back again in the summer. Strongly recommend this guest house. Thank you.
