Lovely small hotel set in manicured gardens. Nice hospitality and the location is great - easy walk to shops and restaurants in Windermere or Bowness (and there is a bus you can get from Bowness back to right outside the hotel if you don’t feel like walking back). Also easy to get to the hike up Orrest Head to get stunning views of the lake and hills all around. We travelled as two couples and we can say that our rooms were luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. The quiet lounge with bar was great for a night cap and the breakfasts were tasty. Plenty of choice. Would highly recommend as a place to stay while exploring this part of the Lake District.

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar Manor. Fantastic breakfasts, amazing afternoon tea and great service. Maid service during breakfast is a master stroke! The hotel is well located being close to Stagecoach bus stops, so you can visit the whole of the Lakes every day. Highly recommended. Thank you Jonathan and your team
