Damson Dene

Location and gardens are beautiful, there is a nice peaceful atmosphere and common areas are clean. Our room was nice except for the jacuzzi bath didnt work. The health suite is ok, hot tub water was milky but it smelt clean. The sauna was never on until we asked for it so it then took a while to heat up, it really needs to be turned on 30 mins before the health suite opens. My biggest problem was meals and drinks being charged to my room thst were not mine. We were part of a group staying over 4 rooms and all food and drinks were charged to my room. There really needs to be a system in place that only the person/s staying in the room should be able to add items to the bill with some form of ID such as room key or card. Overall our stay was and the charges were sorted out but after doing all of that another drink was added after from a different room.

Stayed here many times , & already booked our next stay 9th visit. The staff are very helpful & pleasant. Always had good clean rooms even been upgraded about three times which was a bonus . Dog friendly & my dog & I love the beautiful grounds . Food always good & plenty to choose from . About a 10 mins drive to Bowness . Stayed in July on a Sunday saver deal fantastic value for money , booked it again for September.

Had a great weekend at the Damson Dene. The atmosphere was relaxing as always, the perfect place to unwind. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Thank you for a lovely break. We will be back.
