Four of us had a fantastic lunch this afternoon… amazing location, great service, excellent food… thanks to the whole team so much … an extra gift was the beautiful surprise of a wonderful Anniversary desert plate for my husband and I, only actioned on a conversation had with Leah helping us… we will return, our first visit but not our last ❤️

What a great afternoon tea Oliver guided my friend to the hotel,after her sat nav failed After giving her a strong coffee to calm her stress I had a virgin mary,which was spicy and yummy. All our dietaries were perfectly observed. Even ensuring the plates were separate a good touch The savouries were fabulous the highlight was the cheese ball which was morish and so delicious The sandwiches were perfect,salmon,egg/cress and cheese The scones were light and fluffy The cakes were decadent and so tasty. Oliver kept ensuring we had enough coffee and tea.He was super attentive. It was a fantastic way to catch up with a friend,in a relaxing and comfortable environment Thank you for creating some more great memories

A lovely experience for my 50th with friends. When I titled this review as anticipatory service excellence what I mean is that the staff ethos and approach is one of anticipating what you need before you have to ask for it. This makes for a very relaxing and 5 star experience. This level of service is reflected in every staff member we engaged with from the chaps who met us in the car park through reception and bar staff. In fact the Alex the night porter carried this through and really made our night.
