### I think that Dr I Chandra is referring to some where else ### Gail & Steve are amazing hosts . I could never imagine either of them being rude let alone aggressive! We visited in May 22 for our 40th Wedding Anniversary quick break. On mentioning it & said we had bought champagne Gail quickly said I’ll get you some champagne flutes… The accommodation was spotless we had the garden room, it was lovely to sit out with a glass of wine in the evening before walking up to the local restaurants for a meal.. If we go back to Windermere I wouldn’t stay anywhere else ..

IAm Retired Dr .We booked meadfoot guerst house in Windermere bank holidays weekend I am 78 years old and my wife is 74 years old .The lady owner was rude & aggressive from the start not letting us do anything in the room even the room service was so poor that towels were not changed It was rip off charging £130 per night without any breakfast.I will not recommend this guesthouse even to my worst enemy

My husband and I stayed at Meadfoot Guest House for 3 nights in a four poster room on the ground floor overlooking the garden. The room was lovely and the shower room was spotless. Breakfast was hot and tasty with plenty to start you off for the day, with toast, juice and coffee or tea and all freshly prepared as was the fresh fruit salad with yoghurt prepared by Gail and served by Steve. Steve was a wealth of knowledge as regards to the local area and the best places to visit. Gail and Steve were perfect hosts and lovely people, very friendly and caring with regards to guest's comfort. If you want an adults only bed and breakfast, then look no further for a wonderful relaxing stay. The garden was a great place to sit out with a glass of wine and chill out. Thank you Gail and Steve for a wonderful few days.
