Decided i wanted sunday lunch yesterday 29th March wanted traditional and not many places offer this apart from chains and I wanted home cooked. We walked in to the bar and had a lovely greeting very polite hello what can I get you gentleman asked 2 roast dinners please and it was jist what I wanted beautiful tener roast beef huge yorkies carrots green beans and red cabbage and roast potatoes and lots of homage gravy my plates were cleared hot and a beautiful meal I would recommend a visit when visiting Windermere I have to say we looked at the dessert menu and one of my favourite sticky toffee pudding with fresh cream and phil had apple and red fruit crumble with vegan ice cream I was amazed big chains offer sorbet but to be offered vegan that local icecream shops dont even have . Now for my pudding sticky toffee omg I give this 10/10 one of the best puddings tasted

Brilliant food, the best Steak and Ale Pie I have had in Windermere. The place was very busy which made ordering a bit difficult as the guy at the bar couldn't hear us that well. Would definitely come back for the food.

Great location , service could be a little better , check in is not smooth ,place was closed for luggage drop off No car parking near by Needed some attention on the cleaning of carpets , towels a bit grubby ( feed back for owners ) Otherwise it’s good a little over priced
