Woodlands

Originally Booked mainly for the car parking , and a short walk into town . Very impressed with the accommodation , spacious bedroom and good decor , the only thing that’s change let it down was the ceiling LED light which is out of character with the room . The bathroom was spacious with a shower and a bath . Some housekeeping is needed in the bathroom . Breakfast was superb and all the staff friendly and helpful . Would I go back , YES definitely and would certainly recommend the hotel

We enjoyed our stay at The Woodlands. We were on foot. It is close to city center, being an uphill walk on the way, downhill on the walk back. Our room was spacious. I loved that we had 3 chairs in the room with a small table, plus a desk and a kettle. Breakfast was amazing. We changed our times for breakfast based on what we were doing the following day. The queen sized bed was comfortable. The pillows could be updated, as they were a little flat. The water pressure was low in the shower. The door was stiff to open. Once we knew we had to give it a good shove to open it, we were ok. Gabriella checked us in. We saw her the next couple of mornings serving us breakfast. We even said a friendly hello when we found ourselves in the same shop in town. She always had a smile for us.

Lovely B&B Great location for us. Not too far from Stn Not too far from Windermere Jetty Easy walk down to Bowness. Great breakfast. Very attentive staff. Had an issue with our room Staff at the hotel were all over it within an hour. Great customer service. Thank you
